Auricular Diagnosis Part I

When there is disease in a particular part of the body, the auricle, or the outer portion of the ear, may exhibit positive reactions on corresponding auricular points. These positive reactions may appear before actual bodily symptoms appear, or even after the disease has been cured. In some cases, they may even leave a permanent reactive mark on the corresponding auricular points.

In Part I of this two part series, Dr. Li-Chun Huang, the leading expert of auricular acupuncture in the US, with over 40 years of clinical and teaching experience, shares the various comprehensive methods of auricular diagnosis. In addition, she discusses differential diagnosis of common diseases as well as manipulation in auricular diagnosis.
