The auricle, or the outer part of the ear, has been used in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of different diseases for more than 2,000 years in China. In the past 50 years, auricular therapy has become a unique, systematic, and complete medical system that plays an important role in Chinese Medicine.

Auricular acupuncture points refer to the sites that connect the auricle of the ear to the internal organs, channels, collaterals, tissues, limbs, and bones. As a researcher and clinical practitioner of auricular diagnosis and treatment for over 40 years, Dr. Li-Chun Huang shares in this class auricular acupuncture points in great detail.

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:

  • Be familiar with the basic theory of auricular therapy.
  • Understand the definition and distribution of auricular points.
  • Be familiar with the location of auricular points.
  • Be able to differentiate between the different classifications of auricular points.

Dr. Huang’s system of auricular acupuncture points is based on her clinical experience and practice. Attend this class to learn her definitions of auricular points, their locations on the ear, and their classification.
