1. Are Lotus CEU courses accepted by my state's acupuncture licensing board?
Lotus' courses are certified by NCCAOM and approved by the California, Illinois, Florida and Texas Acupuncture Boards. Most states accept courses that are certified by NCCAOM. Please check with your acupuncture board for more information.
2. Are these seminars certified by the NCCAOM?
Yes, all of Lotus CEU Seminars are certified by the NCCAOM.
3. If I am licensed in more than one state and/or by NCCAOM, will I be able to apply the credit from one course for all my licenses?
Because rules and regulations differ from state to state, please check with your state for specific rules and regulations. Please go to NCCAOM's website www.nccaom.org for more information on their rules and regulations.
4. How many CEUs/PDAs do I get for each day of seminar?
Most of our classes are 8 CEUs/PDAs each day, unless otherwise noted.
5. What is the tuition for each seminar?
Except for the Hands-on Pulse Taking Workshops ($375), all of our seminar courses are $150 for one day and $200 for one weekend.
6. What is the tuition for each seminar if I am a student?
Due to the high cost of holding our seminars, we regret we cannot offer a student discount.
7. What is the gift certificate in which I will receive?
Except for the Hands-on Pulse Workshops, you will receive a gift certificate good towards the purchase of the highest-quality herbs.

8. How do I register for Live LotusCEUSeminars?

9. Can I sign up at the seminar?
Yes, you can sign up at the seminar as long as there are still seats available. A $25.00 late registration fee will be added to all on-site registration and will not be given back to the attendee in the form of a gift certificate.
10. What payment method do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, or checks. If you wish to send us a check, please make the check payable to Lotus Institute and send it to PO Box 92493, City of Industry, CA 91715.
11. How much is your Drug-Herb Reference Guide Set?
The Drug-Herb Reference Guide Set 2 (including the Clinical Manual of Oriental Medicine 2nd Edition, CD Manual, and the MiniManual) is $50.00. 13. What do I need to bring with me to the seminar?
Please bring along a copy of the Clinical Manual of Oriental Medicine 2nd Edition if you already have one. A copy will be given to you if you do not have one.
Room temperatures varies from location to location, please bring along a light sweater and hot beverage.
14. What is your cancellation policy?
The following cancellation policy applies to all classes except for the Hands-on Pulse Taking Workshops where registration fee cannot be transferred or refunded.
If you are unable to attend our seminar, you can still use your gift certificate towards herbs.
Cancellations and requests for refund must be submitted in writing 30 days prior to the seminars and will be processed after the event. No refund will be given for cancellations within 30 days of the seminar.
$25 processing fee will be charged for all refunds. The $25 processing fee for cancellation will not be given back in the form of a gift certificate.
15. Can I transfer the tuition to another course?
Except for the Hands-on Pulse Taking Workshops, if you can not attend the seminar on the date you registered for, but wish to attend another seminar on a different date during the same year, there is a $25 processing fee* applied for all transfers of classes, subject to space availability of the second seminar. The requests of transfers of classes must be submitted in writing 30 days prior to the seminar.

16. What time do the seminars begin?

17. What time do the seminars end?
Seminars end at 6:00 p.m.
18. What will I receive at the seminar?
Upon signing in at the seminar, you will receive the following:
- 1. Course lecture notes
- 2. Drug-Herb Reference Guide Set 2 ($50 value)
- 3. A gift certificate good towards the purchase of herbs (except for the Hands-on Pulse Taking Workshops)
- 4. CEUs certificate for the course
19. When is the last day I can register for the seminar without paying the $25.00 on-site registration fee?
As long as you register before 5 p.m. PST on the Friday before the seminar weekend, you will not be subject to the $25.00 on-site registration fee. Please note that most of our seminars will be sold out. The earlier you register, the more likely you will have a seat.
