Dr. Beebe is certified in veterinary acupuncture, Chinese herbology, Chinese food therapy and veterinary tui-na by the Chi Institute of Chinese Veterinary Medicine and China National Society of TCVM, and has completed the certificate program in Canine Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy at the University of Tennessee. She is a faculty member of the Chi Institute of Chinese Veterinary Medicine in Reddick, Florida and is an assistant editor, and board member of the American Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine (AJTCVM). She is a member of the Thorne Research veterinary advisory board. She is a lecturer for the Qi Academy in Gangelt, Germany, the Lotus Institute of Integrative Medicine in the US, and at scientific meetings internationally. Dr. Beebe owns the Integrative Veterinary Center in Sacramento, California. She has a special interest in the application of Chinese medicine for the treatment of cancer in the dog and cat, and for the treatment of exotic and zoo animals. She is the author of Clinical Handbook of Chinese Herbal Medicine and is also the co-author of a newly published reference textbook Chinese Herbal Formulas for Veterinarians with Michael Salewski, DVM, John Chen, Ph.D, PharmD, O.M.D., L.Ac and Tina Chen, LAc.
