Elbow tendonitis superior to SI8

I have a very muscular male firefighter with chronic tendonitis superior to SI8. I've been using local e stim above and below the elbow. and points on the opposite knee. His progress is slow. Has anyone treated this successfully before? I'm seeing him twice a week and have him on herbs as well..

Eva, try this: xi-cleft SI same side; LU 5 opposite; Tan Liver 8 same; Tan GB 34 opposite (needle into tendon on up to GB 33. Stop when patient feels relief.)
