COURSE DESCRIPTION:
BodyMapping Acupuncture is an anatomically-based distal point acupuncture method following the spirit of Master Tung’s acupuncture and Dr. Richard Tan’s Balance Method. Cole Magbanua, creator and author of BodyMapping Acupuncture Technique, has over 25 years of experience treating over 80,000 patients. Through his extensive clinical research and time-tested protocols, he has concluded that channels are not lines but rather zones on the body. Thanks to this very important discovery, diagnosis and treatment have never been so easy to learn, and with its extreme accuracy, it produces tremendous effectiveness.

In Part I of this two-part series, Cole shares how to treat upper body pain such as headache and pain in the neck, shoulder, and upper back using his distal point acupuncture technique, BodyMapping Acupuncture. Participants understand the relationship between acupuncture channels and the therapeutic uses of those relationships, and how to easily find effective distal points for upper body pain conditions.

In addition, participants will learn what is muscle taping and how it can effectively support the acupuncture treatment for the upper body. Dr. Magbanua will present and demonstrate specifically how to and where to tape the muscles for various upper body conditions.

It is highly recommended to have a colored copy of the BodyMapping Acupuncture chart while taking this course to be able to easily follow along in the class. A laminated copy can be found here.

This course continues with Part II on BodyMapping Acupuncture and muscle taping for treating back and hip pain, which is highly recommended for an optimal learning experience. Click here to see Part II's course description and register.

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:
