Live CEU Seminar (In-Person)

Regular: $150

The most effective acupuncture treatment is when the practitioner takes the time to look at the root cause of a patient’s condition and develop a strategy that will not only treat the symptomatic manifestations but also target the underlying issue.

Jack Schaefer is a successful acupuncturist with over 15 years of clinical experience and in this course, he shares time-tested and effective strategies for creating acupuncture treatment strategies using channel function, point categories, and special needling technique. Jack asks that participants unlearn acupuncture point actions and indications taught in school so that you can see the BIG PICTURE!

Jack combines his knowledge of the classical teachings from the Ling Shu, Zhen Jiu Jia Yi Jing, and the Zhen Jiu Da Cheng and condensed them all into an easy-to-understand format so that you can create the most effective treatment strategies for your patients. This course breaks down acupuncture by clarifying acupuncture point categories and channel types. It then proceeds to redefine how to choose points for a patient based on this concept instead of selecting points based on point action and indication. In addition, this course will include case examples and descriptions for various diseases and injuries.

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:

  • Learn how to break down treatment plans by clarifying acupuncture point categories and channel types
  • Learn how to refine the initial chosen points for an effective treatment plan
  • Learn classical needle protocols as described in the Ling Shu, Zhen Jiu Jia Yi Jing, and the Zhen Jiu Da Cheng for creating the most effective treatment protocol.
