Kinetic acupuncture is a unique and dynamic treatment technique that uses movement and exercise during treatment to promote circulation, structural balance, pain relief, and most importantly, the recovery of function in injured areas. This method of acupuncture is famous for creating effective, immediate, and lasting results, especially for pain conditions. The origin of Kinetic acupuncture, “acupuncture with movement,” can be found in Hui Ci needling of the classical Nei-Jing. Dr. Choi has translated its teaching in a very easy-to-understand format so that you can learn how to care for your patients adequately and effortlessly.

In Part III of this four-part series, Dr. Hyung Suk Choi, one of Korea’s top acupuncture clinicians with over 24 years of experience specializing in musculoskeletal pain disorders, will share his vast knowledge of Kinetic acupuncture, including its indications, safety concerns, and contraindications. He will give clear step-by-step instructions and demonstrations of how to diagnose the condition, what points to needle, how to needle the points, and how to modify the points if necessary. The pain conditions covered include: Head and Neck (TMJ, neck pain with tightened muscles, cervical disc herniation), Elbow (tennis elbow, golfer's elbow), Wrist (chronic wrist pain from a scaphoid fracture, triangular fibrocartilage complex), and Back (lumbar disc herniation, spinal stenosis, acute low back sprain without neuropathic pain).

This course continues with Part IV, which is highly recommended for optimal learning experience. Click here to see Part IV’s course description and to register.

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:

  • Learn Kinetic needling protocols combined with movement for lumbar disc herniation, spinal stenosis, acute low back sprain without neuropathic pain, and cervical disc herniation
