COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Emotional trauma can upset the harmony of the body and reduce the body's ability to balance and heal itself. Once the traumas are identified and treated, the body will function at an optimal level and will respond to treatments for other conditions present.

CT Holman is an acupuncturist of over 15 years of experience specializing in emotional trauma. In this course, CT integrates everything he has learned from his TCM Masters (Lillian Bridges, Master Zhongxian Wu, Dr. Wang Ju-Yim, Brian LaForgia, Dr. Wei Chieh Young, and Li-Chun Huang) to share multi-diagnostic methods such as facial, tongue, and channel diagnosis, and treatment protocols (acupuncture, Chinese herbal formulas, and nutritional and lifestyle recommendations) for treating emotional trauma with Chinese Medicine.

In part I of this two-part series, participants will learn the pathophysiology of emotional trauma, recognize general diagnostic signs of trauma using facial diagnosis, channel palpation, pulse diagnosis, and tongue diagnosis, differentiate how trauma has affected the channels and organ systems, how to reset the overall physiology of the body, and understand how to address an emotional trauma trapped in the body.

Practitioners will learn the three stages of treating trauma with Chinese Medicine, point prescriptions, herbal formula recommendations, sound therapy, how to soothe the trauma memory, and how to treat the root cause with the 5 Elements.

This course continues with Part II, which is highly recommended for an optimal learning experience. Click here to see Part II’s course description and register.
