This is a continuation of Part I. Click here to see the course description of Part I. Taking Part I is not required, but highly recommended for an optimal learning experience. Day 2 focuses on how to look for positive reactions through visual diagnosis and includes personal tips and recommendations from Auricular Medicine expert, Dr. Li-Chun Huang.

In Day 2 of this two part series, Li-Chun Huang goes over the following:

  • How to expose hidden parts of the ear to achieve proper diagnosis
  • Discoloration (red, white, dark grey, dark brown, black) of the ear and its indications
  • Deformity (protraction, depression, edema) in the ear and its indications
  • Skin disorders such as flaking or dry skin (eczema, psoriasis, leucorrhea) and its indications
  • Visible veins in the ear and its indications
  • Cautions and contraindications of auricular medicine

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:

  • Recognize signs of discoloration, auricular deformity, and skin disorders
  • Know indications of visible veins in the ear
  • Understand cautions and contraindications in auricular medicine
