COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Certified Veterinary Food Therapist Dr. Judy Morgan bridges the gap between Western nutritional science and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) principles to help you create balanced, individualized diets for pets. This 2-hour course dispels common myths about "complete and balanced" pet foods, explores the limitations of AAFCO recommendations, and reveals the truth behind processed diets. You'll learn the fundamentals of balancing vitamins, minerals, proteins, fats, and carbohydrates while incorporating whole food ingredients to naturally support pets through disease.
Dr. Morgan also introduces the concept of feeding based on elemental personalities — Earth, Fire, Metal, Water, and Wood — teaching how to identify each type's excesses and deficiencies and how to use food to restore balance. The course includes a pet personality quiz to help you identify your patient's elemental type, along with recipes specifically tailored to each of the five elements so you can put the framework into practice right away.
Named Holistic Veterinarian of the Decade by the International Association of Top Professionals in 2024, Dr. Judy Morgan brings over 36 years of veterinary experience and a wealth of knowledge in holistic healing to this course.
