Refund Policy

For Live CEU Courses (webinar and seminar events)
Written notice of cancellation must be received by Lotus Institute of Integrative Medicine ("eLotus") no later than 5 business days prior to the start of the event for refund of the course registration fee. A $25 processing fee per course will be deducted from the refund for cancellations. Registrants failing to cancel within the timeframe stated above or do not attend the event in its entirety will retain financial responsibility for the full event.

There is no cancellation, transfer, or refund for the Hands-on Pulse Taking Workshop.

Event Cancellation: In the situation that eLotus cancels or reschedules an event for any reason, including cancelling an event that does not meet minimum registration requirements or due to speaker unavailability, paid participants will be contacted and given full refunds. If you are making travel arrangements for the event, we recommend that you confirm the event with us two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled date. In the event of a cancellation, travel costs will not be reimbursed.

No Show Policy: A "no show" is missing a course without cancelling. Unfortunately we are not able to provide refunds for no shows.

For Distance Learning CEU Courses (video recordings, audios, and articles)
There are no refunds for distance learning courses.

For Gold Pass Membership
There are no refunds for the Gold Pass membership.

For License Renewal Bundles
There are no refunds for license renewal bundles once a course has been accessed or a test from the bundled CEU package has been completed and a certificate has been released.

Live CEU Webinar: Attendance Requirement

If you register for an online Live CEU Webinar event, you must attend the entire class online on the scheduled date and time to earn Continuing Education (CE) credit. Participants who arrive late or leave early will not receive CE credit.

Lotus Institute of Integrative Medicine and CEU accreditation boards do not recognize CEU certificates unless there is a record of attendance on the day of the scheduled webinar. Please note, real-time attendance is ONLY applicable to Live CEU Webinars, not to video or audio CEU distance learning courses.

Live CEU Seminar: Attendance Requirement

If you register for an in-person Live CEU Seminar event, you must attend the entire class in-person on the scheduled date and time to earn CE credit. Participants who arrive late or leave early will not receive CE credit.

Gold Pass Membership: Details

The Gold Pass membership is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. As a member, you have access to all online English courses, such as Live CEU Webinars, CEU Video Courses, CEU Audio Courses, CEU Articles, Weekday Webinars, archived video recordings, and premium access to CORE. Membership is non-refundable, non-transferable, non-cancelable, and is only valid for the registered member. Any suspected or actual unauthorized or fraudulent use of membership, as well as any other breach of security, will result in membership revocation. Unfortunately we are not able to provide refunds for any activity related to membership revocation. At any time, eLotus maintains the right to cancel classes or remove any online resources.

If you choose to pay in monthly installments, you must make your first payment of $400 at the time of purchase. Starting one month following the initial purchase, the remaining cost will be divided into 11 monthly payments of $100. You may check the details of your remaining payments by logging in to your account. Because the monthly installment option is offered to assist our members in financing their eLotus Gold Pass - a comprehensive package that requires an annual commitment - failure to pay any installments would constitute a breach of contract, resulting in the loss of all CEUs earned with the membership. A breach of contract may result in future Gold Pass membership eligibility being revoked.

Gold Pass Membership: Auto Renew

By enrolling in the Auto Renew payment option, you authorize Lotus Institute of Integrative Medicine ("eLotus") to charge your credit card on file for the total balance due on your account each year to renew your Gold Pass membership. The My Profile page (Gold Pass tab) in your eLotus account will display the next charge/payment date and renewal fee due for your reference. In addition, your auto renew date and amount due will be emailed to you at least 14 days in advance of your next charge. eLotus maintains the right upon notification to terminate this feature at any time.

You acknowledge that if your payment is rejected, refused, returned, disputed, or reversed by your financial institution or card issuer for any reason, eLotus reserves the right to impose a returned item fee and deactivate your auto renew option.

You may withdraw your consent to the auto renew option by referring to your account settings and changing your payment preferences on the My Profile page (Gold Pass tab) in your eLotus account.

All fees, terms, and conditions are subject to change. eLotus has the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any moment. eLotus will notify you of any such changes by posting them on the website and sending you an email notification. If you do not agree to the changes made by eLotus, you must cancel your auto renew option immediately in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. By continuing to use the auto renew option after revisions have taken effect, you accept and agree to all revisions.

CEU Bundles: Details

When you purchase a CEU Bundle you will automatically be registered to all the courses included in the Bundle. The courses in each Bundle cannot be exchanged or substituted for other courses. Once a course has been accessed or a CEU quiz has been completed from the Bundle, a refund and/or exchange cannot be issued. Bundles cannot be exchanged for another plan nor exchanged for a credit on your account.
