Jimmy Yen, LAc

Jimmy Yen, Licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, earned his Master of Oriental Medicine from the Texas Health & Science University in Austin, TX in 2004. He started his private practice in 2007, at the beginning of the Great Recession, and built it into one of the largest acupuncture clinics in the Austin Metro Area. Jimmy is an avid student of Dr. Jimmy Chang, Dr. Richard Tan, and Dr. Gui Li Zheng.

Jimmy is on the medical advisory committee for the Neuropathy Alliance of Texas, a Texas Chapter of the Neuropathy Association, along with 3 other Neurologists. His clinic, Achieve Integrative Health, is part of the Family Medicine Residency Program for the Baylor College of Medicine, and a rotation clinic for Physician Assistant Students from the Baylor College of Medicine.

Jimmy’s clinic is focused on quick, effective, and long lasting results. They practice Functional Wellness which is a combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Functional Medicine and Nutrition. The results are evident as you walk into their hallway of testimonials.

Jimmy is also board member of the TAAOM (Texas Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) and a strong supporter in elevating the Acupuncture Profession in Texas. One of his personally goals is to elevate the acupuncture profession to the point where when you ask a random kid what they would like to be when they grow up, being an acupuncturist is among one of the options.

I was just wondering why the price difference in the class I purchased live with Jimmy Yen on gastroenterology. I paid 135.00 and see it is now available for 99.95. Isn't it the same class? Does the recording cost less than the live class? Or does it cost more because we get the credits for the live class?
