COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Some of the most difficult cases in Chinese Medicine, whether they manifest as Shen disturbances, chronic pain, PTSD, neurological disorders, or complex chronic illness, often share an underlying Xie (Evil) Qi component that resists standard treatment. Alchemical Acupuncture for Shen Disturbances, Pain and Neurological Disorders equips practitioners to recognize when these cases call for deeper, transformative protocols from the Alchemical Chinese Medicine tradition. Drawing on teachings from Master Jeffrey Yuen, the Worsley Five Element tradition, and Sun SiMiao’s classical approaches, this course reveals how Alchemical protocols can release energetic "hooks" and restore harmony on spiritual and emotional levels.

Led by Leta Herman, who has spent over 25 years integrating Alchemical Chinese Medicine into modern practice, this training provides both theoretical foundations and practical applications. Participants will explore protocols such as the Thirteen Ghost Points, Internal and External Dragons, Nine Stages of Alchemy, and Alchemical Grieving Treatment, supported by detailed case studies, safety considerations, and practitioner cultivation practices. By the end, attendees will gain the skills to identify when deeper Alchemical methods are needed, how to apply them effectively, and how to integrate them responsibly into their existing acupuncture practice.

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:

  • Recognize clinical indicators that suggest when Alchemical protocols are appropriate for treatment-resistant or complex cases.
  • Identify and apply key Alchemical treatment methods based on diagnostic findings.
  • Safely integrate Alchemical assessment and treatment into existing Chinese Medicine frameworks.
  • Begin cultivating personal practices to support deeper healing and the role of the Alchemical practitioner.
