Autoimmune disease is essentially the body attacking itself. The immune system can either be weak and fail to protect the body against viruses, bacteria, and internal pathogens, or the body's immune responses become hyper-vigilant and are directed against itself.

In Part I of this course, Regan Archibald, an experienced Acupuncturist, teaches you how to read and interpret adrenal lab values through a functional western medical perspective and treat the dysfunction with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). You will also learn how to diagnose and treat gut issues, interpret stool profiles and auto-immunity through a functional medicine and TCM lens, and how to efficiently communicate imbalances based on tongue and pulse diagnostic testing as well as by looking at functional lab values from a functional medical perspective. Topics to be discussed include but are not limited to: gut dysbiosis, candida overgrowth, leaky gut syndrome, thyroid labs, and adrenal stress testing.

Part II of this course is not required but is highly recommended for an optimal learning experience. Click here to see Part II course description and register.
