An allergy refers to a hypersensitivity disorder of the immune system. An allergic reaction occurs when the immune system reacts to normally harmless substances in the environment. In this video recording, Dr. Jimmy Wei-Yen Chang will first share an introduction of what allergy is in term of Western Medicine and the common symptoms associated with allergies. Dr. Chang will also discuss the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) pattern differentiations of allergy and share the herbal treatment for each differentiation.
