Pain is an unpleasant sensation that we have all experienced on many occasions in our lives. One way to help relieve the pain is through acupuncture. To some, acupuncture may be an unfamiliar treatment and in this video recording, Ted Priebe gives a scientific explanation on what pain is and what acupuncture needling therapy can do for the sensation of pain. He will start off by sharing with us the history and science of Acupuncture, including how to restore physiological balance and the science behind Chinese vessel circulation and tissue response. Ted Priebe will also go over conditions such as fibromyalgia, complex regional pain syndrome, and reflex sympathetic dystrophy. And before ending the video recording, he will discuss the pain control pathways associated with acupuncture needling.

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:

  • Learn the history and science of Acupuncture (Needling Therapy).
  • Learn the clinical features of reflex sympathetic dystrophy.
  • Discover the scientific treatment approaches to pain using acupuncture needling therapy.
