Alexa Bradley Hulsey is a graduate of Yo San University in Los Angeles and has been practicing acupuncture since 2005. In 2010 she opened Encircle Acupuncture [1], a community acupuncture clinic in Nashville, TN, with the mission to bring the benefits of acupuncture and TCM to more people by making services affordable and accessible. In the ensuing years, her clinic has expanded to encompass two locations and a staff of multiple acupuncturists. Encircle has provided over 200,000 affordable acupuncture treatments since its founding and is one of the busiest community acupuncture clinics in North America. In 2020 she was named one of Nashville Business Journal’s Women of Influence, in the Trailblazer category.
She is also the co-creator of Open ACU [2], an integrated online appointment scheduling and EHR software system designed for acupuncturists.
Alexa's podcast, Notes from Your Acupuncturist [3], and its accompanying newsletter on Substack, features conversations with colleagues and reflections on acupuncture, complementary medicine, holistic health and self-care.
Her newest project is Community Acu Hub [4], an online resource center for community acupuncturists.
