Job Description

We are seeking a full-time, new continuing education coordinator - someone with an extreme interest and passion for Chinese medicine. Work location: Rowland Heights, CA

Hours: Full-time 9 am - 6 pm; also some weekends

Language: Mandarin/English bilingual preferred


Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Planning, organizing, and delivering in-person and online continuing education programs
  • Marketing, planning, and implementing strategic objectives to ensure the continued, long-term success of the programs
  • Translating and writing articles and producing TCM content
  • Supporting and developing marketing plans for programs
  • Coordinating all program logistics, including but not limited to room and venue scheduling, faculty availability, hotel, transportation, parking, ordering/purchasing supplies, and catering based on individual program needs
  • Establishing and communicating timelines and deadlines with speakers regarding course presentations
  • Utilizing the online registration system (Cvent) and MailChimp
  • Coordinating events with the rest of the staff and double-checking their work to ensure smooth operation

Note: Weekend work may be required when courses are scheduled.


Requirements

Qualifications needed:

  • Extreme passion and dedication to pursuing higher knowledge in TCM
  • Preferred bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (speaking, writing, and listening)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Licensed Acupuncturist or TCM student
  • Full-time and some weekends
  • Demonstrated strong skills pertinent to teamwork, communication, analytic problem-solving, and education advocacy
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of and functional competency with computers, software, data systems, and other electronic devices and methods used to deliver educational programs
