At the mere age of 23 Alyssa underwent open-heart surgery – the result of an undiagnosed bacterial infection. This eye opening experience to Western medicine led her to become an acupuncturist. Excited to heal the world but with very little business experience, Alyssa struggled through the first couple of years after opening her practice. Mere persistence, a bunch of trial and error, time and energy finally allowed her to conclude there are seven main areas needed for successful practice building. With these seven areas locked in her practice began to soar and in less then three years she had built a 6-figure acupuncture practice.
