COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This unique course explores the deep connection between embryological development and the formation of the meridian system in Chinese Medicine. By understanding how the natal energetic matrix develops alongside the human fetus, practitioners gain insight into the origins of the channels, internal organs, and their energetic pathways.
Topics include the formation of Fu Xi Gua during fertilization and gastrulation, as well as correlations between embryonic systems and the meridians: nervous system (Ren and Du Mai), cardiovascular (Fire), respiratory (Metal), digestive (Earth/Wood), and uro-reproductive (Water). Through this lens, participants will be invited to consider the meridians not only as lines but as dynamic expressions of human development.
The course also discusses how these perspectives may inform clinical thinking, offering new ways to approach diagnosis, channel theory, and point location, while emphasizing the value of precision and quality in practice.
Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:
- Explain the significance of Fu Xi Gua in understanding the natal energetic matrix.
- Differentiate Chinese Medicine patterns associated with these chronic conditions through root-branch analysis.
- Reframe the meridian system as a developmental and energetic network beyond linear pathways.
- Explore how embryological perspectives may contribute to refining channel theory and clinical practice.
