David Hartmann is an acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner that lives in Brisbane, Australia. He has been practicing since 1997 and upgraded his qualifications with a Masters of Acupuncture in 2009. A PhD is pending.
He is a contract academic at Endeavour College of Natural Health, where he lectures students in a Bachelor of Chinese Medicine degree.
Dr. Hartmann is a keen researcher and writer and has recently written a textbook titled 'The Principles and Practical Application of Acupuncture Point Combinations'. He also has a textbook titled 'Acupoint Dictionary 2e'.
Dr. Hartmann has presented at conferences in the USA, Germany, England, Poland, Australia and New Zealand as well as done stand-alone seminars in the USA, The Netherlands, Denmark, Ireland, England, Australia and New Zealand. He has a wealth of knowledge in the field of Chinese medicine and am forever researching and learning new things. He also has a special interest in anything philosophical; Western or Eastern; ancient or modern. Interestingly, he is also currently writing a historical fiction piece with philosophy front and centre to the storyline.
