Jack Schaefer is a graduate of Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) and completed his post-graduate study at the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, China. To continue development and education, he makes regular trips to China, both to consult on difficult cases and to further his knowledge and experience in Chinese Medicine. As a Professor at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, he has taught a variety of topics, including the use of secondary channels in the treatment of diseases. Jack has also been published in the Lantern and The Journal of Chinese Medicine. Using this multi-layer style of acupuncture in his Boulder Colorado private practice, Jack has worked extensively with pain syndromes, athletes, and internal medicine.
