Mark Tryling, LAc

Mark Tryling has been a primary care provider of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine since 2001 and is licensed by the Texas Medical Board. He has been an electromechanical engineering consultant/contractor from 1985 to 2001, and a design engineer from 1978 to 1985. He studied mathematics and mechanical engineering at Texas Tech University and went on to pursue postgraduate studies at the Dallas College of Oriental Medicine. In 2009, he published a book called “The Pulse Matrix”.

In 1997, Mark attended the first seminar Dr. Tan taught in Texas, while he was still a student at DCOM. He also became the busiest student intern using Balance Method at the DCOM student clinic.

He was born and raised in Texas and began integrating the concepts of Chinese medicine and philosophy in the early 1980s. An avid athlete, Mark was a short-distance runner for 25 years (1983-2008) and a road cyclist for 100 miles per week. He is married with two children and two grandchildren, and his wife has three cats. Mark and his wife, Michelle, who is an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner, Yoga Therapist, and Integrated Positional Therapist, are currently in practice together.
