Sayuri de Sousa is a licensed Acupuncturist Physician and a diplomate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is also an American board-certified herbalist.
With a B.S. in Health Science and an M.S. in Oriental Medicine from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine, Sayuri incorporates Traditional Chinese Medicine and other natural therapies into her patient-centered approach to treating various common issues.
Sayuri's passion for herbology and the healing power of nature drives her belief in the body's inherent ability to heal itself. She understands that nature's healing process is ordered and intelligent, operating through the response of the life force.
As a practitioner, Sayuri's role is to facilitate and enhance this healing process by identifying and removing obstacles to health and recovery, and supporting the creation of a healthy internal and external environment for her patients.
