Acupuncture Dr Help

Hi,

I'm a client looking for some advice with a acupuncturist I visited.

I know that it takes time and nothing will be fixed after the first visit but I had a really bad experience following a visit to an acupuncturist. I went to an acupuncturist for the first time on Thursday last week. I've been dealing with migraines for years and the medication is not working as well as it used to so I was hoping I could find some help with acupuncture. The guy I saw is old school and I went home with rice and some other seeds wrapped in tap around my fingers. I'm fine with that but I'm concerned because I had one of the worse migraines I've had in 6 months the night I went in for my treatment. My migraine also lasted longer than it normally does, my typical migraine will last between four to six hours. I dealt with mine from Thursday evening through Friday afternoon. I've also been dealing with the onset feeling of a migraine for the last two days. It could be an odd coincidence that I just ended up with a very bad couple of migraines in a row just after seeing the acupuncturist for the first time but I'm not sure.

I was looking for suggestions on whether I should go back and give this guy another chance or seek out another acupuncturist who maybe has a different approach.

Thank you,

Shane
