New use for Cordyceps

I've recently been using Dong Chong Xia Cao as a cardio workout herb. I have my clinic connected to a kung fu/tai chi studio. A few students who are trying to quit smoking took 1 gr. of evergreen's dong chong xia cao before sparring or High Intensity Interval Training. They all reported feeling their workout was way easier in the sense that they didn't poop out as soon as they would have otherwise. For some of them they would have difficulty breathing or exercising after 2-5 minutes. Some reported that it is not like they had more energy but that the workout was way easier. One Adult male has exercise induced asthma and said he didn't feel the "drain" come on and didn't feel the urge to wheeze after only one dose. (he is not a smoker). We are using the Tabata protocol and all the people in the "study" are my regular patients. Take 1 dose of Dong Chong Xia Cao 5 minutes before the workout (typically 1 gr. of 5:1 granules) Start them easy on the tabata protocol (2 rounds) they will burn plenty of fat and exercising will be fun.
