COURSE DESCRIPTION:
"How do I optimize my acupuncture treatment?" This question is often asked by David Hartmann's students and acupuncturists alike. The answer often revolves around the point combinations used for treatment. As you learn to better combine each point, the less individual points you need to study. Understanding how the points are grouped will provide the best possible treatment for your patients.

This course is designed to stimulate the thought process of the participants on the reasons for their point combination selections through theoretical analysis. In this presentation, time-tested and trusted prescribed acupuncture and herbal therapies will be included, focusing on the Chinese medicine themes of Five Spirits (Wu Shen), emotions, and mental wellness.

In Part I of this two-part series, David Hartmann, a seasoned acupuncturist with over 20 years of clinical experience, introduces acupuncture point combinations – why they matter, how they work, and how to combine acupuncture points using various TCM themes.

This course continues with Part II, which is highly recommended for an optimal learning experience. Click here to see Part II’s course description and to register.
