COURSE DESCRIPTION:
In honor of the legendary late Dr. Richard Tan, this is a rebroadcast from February 26, 2011

Dr. Richard Tan is the author of Dr. Tan's Internal Showcase: The Global Balance Method, Acupuncture 1,2,3, Twelve and Twelve in Acupuncture, Twenty-Four More in Acupuncture, Dr. Tan's Strategy of Twelve Magical Points, and Shower of Jewels. As the inventor of the Balance Method, the late Dr. Tan has effectively helped thousands of patients with their pain disorders. However, the Balance Method is not limited to pain, but has many broader applications.

In this course, the late Dr. Tan introduces his advanced style known as Global Balance, a combination of Dynamic and Static Balance. This is a logical and systematic approach to create treatments for internal disorders. He expands upon his key concepts by showing how to treat complicated cases involving stress, insomnia, and depression.

With a lifetime of experience, Dr. Richard Tan has dedicated his life to the study as well as the teaching of acupuncture. Attend this class and learn how to apply Static Balance and Dynamic Balance in the treatment of stress, insomnia, and depression, which brings about a deeper understanding of the basic Five Systems in the Balance Method. Learn the differential diagnosis of stress, insomnia, and depression and point selection based on various Ba-Gua methods.

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:

  • Understand the theory behind the Balance Method systems
  • Be introduced to the theory of Static and Dynamic Balance.
  • Understand how to apply the theory of the Balance Method to stress, insomnia, and depression.
