COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course will provide participants with an overview of Neoclassical Acupuncture and its four levels of treatment: Meridian, Organ, Obstacle, and Element. As the course title implies, participants will learn the first level of Meridian treatment, which entails learning an algorithm that allows the practitioner to treat any meridian with just one needle. When a meridian is opened, any pain or sensitivity along the entire length of the channel is removed. This level prepares the participant for the level of meridians, which allows the practitioner to open four meridians with a single needle and, eventually, all meridians when used with the concept of 'Clusters.' Because the algorithm uses the points based on their elemental category, a simple method for efficiently locating these point categories will be taught. Due to minor differences in some point locations, some time will be spent on point location as well.

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:

  • Gain an general understanding of the different levels of treatment in Neoclassical Acupuncture
  • Learn the algorithm of opening a meridian with one needle using the Neoclassical Acupuncture system
  • Learn an easy method to locate points according to their elemental category
