In Part II of this two-part series, Dr. Chong He, a seasoned acupuncturist with over 35 years of clinical experience, continues the presentation on neurodegenerative diseases. Neurodegenerative disease is the result of a continuous process that is progressive, leading to loss of function in the tissues or organs and is often an irreversible deterioration. Part II will emphasize on the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) cause, etiology, manifestation, diagnosis, and treatment protocols using acupuncture and herbal medicine for the following neurodegenerative diseases: Parkinson's disease, MS (multiple sclerosis), ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), and Alzheimer's disease.
