Peter Kington is an experienced Chinese medicine practitioner in Brisbane, Australia with a special interest in Chinese reproductive medicine and fertility. This course explores the major issues and pathology associated with the menstrual cycle. The class begins with a detailed biomedical study of the female reproductive physiology from a Western medical perspective and then from a TCM perspective. The second half focuses on biomedical assessment and testing, TCM assessment and testing, and conditions that upset the natural reproductive physiology such as hypothalamic disruption, hyperprolactinaemia, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, and fibroids.

Part II of this course is not required but is highly recommended for an optimal learning experience. Click here to see Part II course description and register.
