Tien-Te Tseng, Ph.D, M.T.C.M.

Dr. Tseng is a highly respected Chinese medical doctor with nearly 30 years of clinical experience and is the primary inheritor of Dr. Wei-Chieh Young’s Tung Acupuncture lineage in Taiwan. Having studied under Dr. Young for 25 years, he has developed a profound understanding of Tung’s Acupuncture, integrating it with classical herbal medicine and innovative treatment methodologies. His expertise spans Traditional Acupuncture, Cold Damage & Miscellaneous Diseases (Shanghan Zabing), Meridian & Spinal Manipulation, Dietary Therapy, and Aromatherapy. He has also pioneered several advancements in the Tung system, such as the Circular Taiji Approach to Dongqi (Active Qi), the Horizontal Connection Daoma Coupling System, and his unique understanding of acupoint combinations in relation to herbal formulas. These insights are documented in his book, Transmission of Core Insights into Tung Acupuncture.

A sought-after educator, Dr. Tseng has lectured at over 300 international seminars across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia, including events at the Rothenburg International Acupuncture Congress in Germany, the Swiss TCM Association, the Guangzhou International Tung’s Acupuncture Conference in China, Five Branches University in California, and HKU SPACE in Hong Kong. He has also been a frequent speaker at major medical institutions and associations in Taiwan. In 2005, he founded Taiwan Tian-Cheng Chinese Medical Clinic and currently serves as the Chairman of the Taiwan Tung Acupuncture Executive Council.

With a lifelong dedication to education and innovation, Dr. Tseng continues to preserve and advance the legacy of Tung’s Acupuncture. His "Yao-Jin-Qi" Holistic Therapy philosophy—"Mastering the precision of acupuncture, leveraging the efficacy of herbal medicine, integrating the strengths of various traditions, and pioneering new innovations"—reflects his commitment to blending tradition with modern advancements. Through his clinical practice, teaching, and research, he remains at the forefront of Tung’s Acupuncture development, ensuring its continued evolution for future generations.
