Tisha Mallon, LAc

Tisha Mallon, L.Ac., Dipl.Ac., graduated from the San Francisco School of Acupuncture in 1987. Upon completing her program, she trained in Nanjing and Chengdu, the Republic of China with Dr. Xu and several other masters for over a year. She furthered her career a few years later with one of the foremost advanced teachers of Japan, Master Shoji Kobayashi, in Shakuju Therapy (SJT), and received her certification to teach SJT in 2011 in the USA. Her studies included editing the Yi (origin of the I Ching) written by Sensei Kobayashi in Japanese and English. Sensei Kobayashi clinically demonstrated that a relationship exists between the Yi, acupuncture and moxibustion.

After sponsoring and teaching many seminars on the West Coast with Master Shoji Kobayashi Sensei, and his ten exceptionally gifted teachers, she continues to teach and practice Japanese acupuncture in the Bay Area. Tisha has organized and taught both beginning and advanced Shakuju Therapy seminars at the Acupuncture Integrative Medical College (AIMC) in Berkeley California including teaching SJT in the curriculum and clinical studies for several years at the college.
