Would acupuncture cures chronic lower back pain?

Hi all,
I have chronic lower back pain and had tried various treatments for relief, but they were of no use. I have severe pain and difficulty in walking. I also have numbness, tingling and cold feeling in my legs. My doctor told that I have the symptoms of spinal stenosis and suggested me to consult a physiotherapist. I have read that acupuncture will be effective for back pain, So I am planning to seek the help of an expert therapist in Physiomobility, Toronto for acupuncture. Will it cure my chronic lower back pain? What do think? If you have any other suggestions, please let me know.
