COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Fang Scalp Acupuncture is a powerful microsystem that integrates the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern neuroscience to produce fast and effective clinical results. Developed in the 1960s by Dr. Fang Yun Peng and Dr. Fang Ben Zheng, this system allows practitioners to influence the body’s Qi through the central nervous system, offering a unique and highly efficient approach to treating both internal conditions and pain disorders.

In this comprehensive training, participants will begin by learning the foundations of Fang Scalp Acupuncture, including its historical development and how it compares to other major scalp acupuncture systems such as Jiao’s, Zhu’s, and Yamamoto’s styles. This context provides practitioners with a clearer understanding of what makes Fang’s approach distinct and clinically powerful.

The course then introduces the 12 Jia Zi Framework Protocol, where students will learn the function, indications, and precise location of each point. Emphasis is placed on accurate point location using key anatomical landmarks and cun measurements, along with the three framework landmarks essential to the Fang system. Participants will also be introduced to the flying needle technique and Fang’s scalp imaging system, both of which enhance precision and treatment effectiveness.

Building on this foundation, the course explores the holographic image of the Fang Scalp microsystem, including how to locate and measure the Fu Xiang image for immediate clinical application. Students will also learn 11 central nerve control points associated with key functions such as thinking, coordination, memory, and writing, providing additional tools for neurological and cognitive support.

The second half of the course focuses on practical, clinically relevant treatment protocols. Participants will learn how to apply Fang Scalp Acupuncture for a wide range of common conditions, including lower back pain, spinal disorders, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, sciatica, cervical spondylosis, and radiating pain affecting the shoulder, arm, and hand. Additional protocols address shoulder pain, tennis elbow and golfer’s elbow, plantar fasciitis, as well as internal conditions such as depression, anxiety, and insomnia through Heart and Kidney communication strategies.

With guidance from Dr. Ching Ching Chi, PhD, LAc, who trained extensively under Dr. Fang Ben Zheng, this course combines classical knowledge with clinical application. Participants will leave with practical tools, precise techniques, and a clear framework for integrating Fang Scalp Acupuncture into everyday practice with confidence.

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:

  • Accurately locate and utilize Fang Scalp acupuncture points using key landmarks, cun measurements, and the three framework systems.
  • Utilize the holographic Fu Xiang image and central nerve control points to support neurological, cognitive, and pain-related conditions.
  • Understand and apply the holographic theory behind the Fang Scalp microsystem for effective pain management.
  • Implement effective treatment protocols for common musculoskeletal and internal conditions, including spinal disorders, joint pain, and emotional health concerns.
