COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Medical Palmistry as a diagnostic tool for medicine had been abandoned until the last 30 years where a renewed interest has sparked a resurgence in research and study. Palmistry was to the ancient physician what the stethoscope and microscope are to the modern physician. Information gathered about the patient's temperament and constitutional make-up, helped form an overall health pattern to be addressed. Western palmistry has refined and greatly improved upon the insights of this ancient Eastern science to provide a more holistic and accurate picture. Palmistry provides an immediate snapshot of the subject's "internal reality" that is easily accessed by the lines and shapes of the hand. The 6th Branch of Chinese Medicine Part 1 will provide theory and foundation for hand reading fundamentals that the provider can use to broaden the depth of diagnosis. Gaining a psychological profile of our patient can add a new dimension to patient assessment and the possible cause of dis-ease.

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:

  • Learn theory and foundation for hand reading fundamentals
  • Recognize basic palmistry lines
  • Gaining a psychological profile of our patient
