Internal medicine is an integral part of both western and traditional Chinese medicine. Both medicines have advantages and disadvantages in regards to diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. In order to learn how to achieve optimal treatment results with minimal side effects and adverse reactions, it is imperative that healthcare practitioners understand both western and traditional Chinese medicine systems so they can help the patients make clear and informed decisions.

Dr. John Chen is a recognized authority in both western pharmacology and Chinese Herbal Medicine, author, and faculty of the USC School of Pharmacology and many TCM colleges. In this recording, Dr. Chen shares with us an overview to the integrative internal medicine topic of immune disorders.
