COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Master Tung’s acupuncture is known for its clinical efficacy and in this course, participants will discover the power of these miraculous points. This course consists of four sections. In the first section, Henry McCann shares Tung points and herbal recommendations for common geriatric conditions. Next, Chuan-Min Wang shares how and why five Zang pulse diagnosis is imperative to selecting Tung points. In the third section, Dean Mouscher shares what Master Tung did for up to 40% of his patients and why for many conditions, nothing else will do the job as well. He will also cover case studies and treatment protocols for knee pain, trigeminal neuralgia, sciatica, high blood pressure, varicose veins, hemorrhoids, eye problems, abdominal pain, reflux, spinal cord injury, and coccyx pain. And finally, Jim Spears goes over the idea that by taking a fascial and anatomical approach to understanding Master Tung’s points, and acupuncture points in general, we can increase our understanding of distal needling actions and indications. Examples will be given using Tung points 77.01-77.04 and Tung’s ST Meridian Points such as the Four Horses (88.17, 88.18, 88.19), Thigh Three Thoroughfares (88.01 - 88.03), Four Flowers (77.08, 77.09, 77.11), Three Weights (77.05, 77.06, 77.07), and Metal Gate (66.05).
