COURSE DESCRIPTION:
As the world's population ages, degenerative diseases become commonly seen worldwide. This is the result of a continuous process that is progressive, leading to loss of function in the tissues or organs and is often an irreversible deterioration. Commonly known degenerative diseases include Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, alzheimer’s disease, and ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).

In Part I of this two-part series, Dr. Chong He, a seasoned acupuncturist with over 35 years of clinical experience, shares the clinical characteristics of neurodegenerative diseases, fundamentals of what you need to know when treating patients with neurological conditions, and Traditional Chinese Medicine's (TCM) role in neurodegenerative diseases. In addition, the etiology, manifestation, diagnosis, and treatment protocol for Parkinson's disease will be covered.

This course continues with Part II, which is highly recommended for an optimal learning experience. Click here to see Part II’s course description and to register.
