COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Treatments using TCM can be effective for side effects relating to oncology. This course will give participants insight of how to manage side effects in a clinical setting. Participants will learn how the regulation of tumor-related T cells plays an important role in modulating tumor immunity with traditional Chinese medicine. In addition, definitions of cancer will be clarified, possible side effect conditions will be shared, and the TCM pathology and differential diagnosis. Finally, syndrome differentiation in cancer treatment and TCM protocols focusing on palliative care will be addressed.
