COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The Ba Zi is a branch of Chinese metaphysics that analyzes a person's birth chart and is based on the five phases theory and the system of heavenly stems and earthly branches. Acupuncture and Chinese medicine have traditionally believed that time had a significant impact on disease. Ba Zi determines whether a person is vulnerable to certain influences as they grow through life. These can be related to health, wealth, career, status, education, relationships, spirituality, and other a variety of other factors. By calculating and preparing they dynamics of a person's Ba Zi ("eight characters") based on the person's year, month, day, time, and city of birth, illuminating patterns can be identified.

The period of birth is a combination of different simultaneous cycles, and we are under the impact of major and subtle movements that affect our potential energy on our perception of ourselves, our surroundings, and our mental and physical health during this time. This effect might reveal our proclivity for positive and unfavorable moments in our lives.

In this course, we will delve into the fundamentals of the Ba Zi chart and the person's energetic DNA. We will delve deeper into the top ten personalities, as well as their characteristics and abilities.

In Part I of this two-part series, Aaron Zizov shares an introduction to Chinese astrology and Ba Zi, cycles and segments of time, main theories in Chinese astrology such as the five phases, heavenly stems and earthly branches, and finally how to read the four pillars and the Day Masters of the Ba Zi chart.
