COURSE DESCRIPTION:
David Legge, an osteopath and acupuncturist who specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, shares a new way to look at the meridian sinew system which is also commonly referred to as the tendino-muscular meridians, sinew channels, and muscle meridians. This course aims is to enable the acupuncture practitioner to diagnose musculoskeletal disorders from both a Chinese medicine and an anatomical perspective and to combine these insights into an effective treatment. David will go over TCM physiology, pathology and etiology of musculoskeletal disorders, with TCM diagnosis and treatment modalities and point selections, and include an exposition of the jingjin, the muscle meridians in Chinese medicine.

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:

  • Understand the clinical role of muscle meridians
  • Understand the pathways of jingjin
  • Know how to diagnose musculoskeletal disorders from both a Chinese medicine and an anatomical perspective
