COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Men's health can be a sensitive subject as some men may find it uncomfortable to consult a physician about a health issue, preferring to avoid it entirely. Hoping that these health concerns will go away on their own, they tend to resurface in the future, making them even more of a nuisance. It is in our patients' best interests as healthcare practitioners to be proactive in identifying barriers and other causative factors affecting optimal health. We can identify and remedy deficiencies affecting health through effective TCM differential diagnosis and use of Master Tung's acupuncture. Learn how to use Master Tung's acupuncture to create a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to each patient's specific needs.

This course will begin with an explanation of core theories that underlie Tung's acupuncture and then continue with commonly used points and treatment strategies in sexual health, which includes reproductive disorders (infertility and prostate issues), as well as urological conditions (kidney/bladder).

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:

  • Recognize barriers and other causative factors affecting optimal health for men
  • Identify and remedy deficiencies affecting health through effective TCM differential diagnosis and use of Master Tung's acupuncture
  • Learn Master Tung's acupuncture points for disorders relating to men's health
