COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of acupuncture points using Tung's acupuncture concepts and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles. Throughout the course, participants will explore Tung's concepts to gain a fundamental understanding of points. They will learn channel connection, mirror/image concepts, and basic needle methods taken from Tung. Additionally, the course will cover the analysis of common TCM points to understand their multiple functions and indications. Participants will also learn about the 5 Phase understanding of points and how it relates to the Tung theory. The course will conclude by analyzing common or important point pairs (dui xue 對穴) to understand their harmony and importance of the combination. Overall, this course will provide a clear and in-depth understanding of acupuncture points, using both Tung's acupuncture concepts and TCM principles.
In Part I of this two-part course, participants will learn about the fundamental principles of Tung's acupuncture concepts and gain an understanding of acupuncture points and their basic needle methods. The course will cover channel connection and mirror/image concepts to provide a more comprehensive understanding of these principles. Additionally, participants will analyze common TCM points to understand their multiple functions and indications, allowing them to apply their knowledge in a practical way.

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:
