Dr. David Wells, with dual degrees in chiropractic and acupuncture, shares his idea to posit that the organization of nerve channels utilized by acupuncture was laid down during embryological development, shortly after the appearance of the neural streak, but before the differentiation of the limbs. Using this model, Dr. Wells has been able to successfully predict the location of effective distal treatment points and shares in this introductory course how to treat extremity and arthritic conditions using distal treatment points.

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:

  • Understand the function anatomy of extremities and the mechanisms of orthopedic
  • injury.
  • Understand how to locate effective distal points based on Dr. Wells' theory.

  • Recognize homologous relationships within the body
