COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Roberta Jean Leong was a direct observer of Dr. Miriam Lee's practice for many years and had her own practice in California from 1985 until relocating in 2003 to retire in Las Vegas. Jean has tremendous experience teaching, observing, implementing Dr. Lee's unique techniques in using Master Tung’s acupuncture points.

In this course, Jean shares how to treat severe infections in elderly people using Master Tung and traditional acupuncture points, Chinese herbs, qigong, and dietary recommendations. Topics covered include pneumonia and intestinal infections caused by clostridium difficile colitis, strep throat, earache infections, vaginal candida, tonsil stones, and chronic or recurring skin infections.

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:

  • Assist practitioners to help patients using TCM concepts and treatment methods to give appropriate treatment when confronted variety of heat syndromes.
  • Help TCM trained practitioners to increase understanding of Western medicine concepts of pathogens and immune system response including up-regulation and down-regulation, inflammation, biofilm and recurring symptoms.
  • Help TCM practitioners to correctly do TCM diagnosis, prescribe acupuncture treatment, give pointers on refinements, how to do these treatments, and suggestions on dietary and food guidance including discussion of residual antibiotics in meat and risks to human immune response.
