Frequently Asked Questions - Live Webinars

Live webinars, or LotusCEUWEBINARS, are classes you attend live via the internet. These courses are held during the weekends from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Pacific Time). Live webinars are approved for 8 units each day.

Please note, to receive CEUs/PDAs for Lotus Live CEU Webinars, attendees MUST be logged in on the day of the scheduled event during the specified date and time. No exceptions. For those who did not attend the webinar during its scheduled date and time, but only watched it during the two-week extended viewing period, the CEU certificate generated by taking the course quiz is INVALID. eLotus and CEU accreditation boards do not recognize CEU certificates unless there is a record of attendance on the day of the scheduled webinar.

To receive CEUs/PDAs for webinars, regulatory boards require attendees to be present the day of the event, then pass a short course quiz with 70% or higher and complete a required course evaluation. Once you have passed the course quiz and completed the required course evaluation, your Certificate of Completion is immediately available for you to print. You will have 2 weeks after the webinar to pass the quiz, complete the course evaluation, and print/save a copy of your certificate of completion. (There will be a $25 retrieval fee for requests to access the quiz and/or certificate of completion after the 2-week period.)

To access the course quiz, click on "My Quizzes". You will find a list of all the quizzes for the courses you've purchased here. To start taking the quiz for a specific course, click on the name of that course.

Quizzes for live webinars are available starting the day of the webinar and open for 2 weeks after the webinar. During the 2-week period, you have unlimited attempts to pass the quiz.

Your certificate of completion is available for you to print and download once you pass the course quiz and complete the required course evaluation. The certificate is accessible for 2 weeks after the webinar, so make sure to print/save a copy for your records. (There will be a $25 retrieval fee for certificates after the 2-week period.)

For best sound levels, we recommend that you use an external computer speaker for your volume control. In addition, we recommend laptop users to have a headset ready as well.

For bandwidth optimization, we suggest having only one browser open for the entire length of the webinar. This will enhance the flow of images from the webinar and maintain the responsiveness of your screen controls. It is also recommended that you do NOT browse the internet while attending the webinar.
