Mandatory recertification requirements include:

• CPR certificate: Only one accepted per recertification cycle - 4 PDA points awarded. CPR Article
• Safety (SA): minimum 2 PDA points/hours
• Ethics (ET): minimum 2 PDA points/hours
• Core Competency subject areas: minimum 22 PDA points/hours - AOM-AC (Acupuncture), AOM-BIO (Biomedicine), AOM-CH (Chinese Herbology), or AOM-OM (Oriental Medicine)
• The remaining 30 hours can continue to be earned in the Core Competencies section OR the Diplomate has the option to submit PDA points in the Professional Enhancement section under coursework in adjunctive therapies (PE-CW) or participation in professional activities (PE-AT)
